Ever been in a knife shop or a cigar shop that also sold shaving equipment? Such as straight razors?
A store that sells straight razors should also be selling Lynn Abrams' World of Straight Razor Shaving dvd. Why? Because it would be good for the customer and good for the store.
The customer who's interested in straight razors will get expert instruction on how to use and take care of the razor. The store will be more likely to sell razors.
Is there a way to make this happen?
When I'm talking to the owner of a store that sells razors -- yes, I've done this -- what could I tell him or show him that would let him see the benefit of the dvd? I see it as a benefit to both him and his customers, but I don't want to come across as a salesman.
Just to be clear, all I'm trying to do is to get people interested in my hobby. I'm not affiliated with Lynn, I have nothing to do with selling or promoting the dvd, and I would not profit from it financially.
Mods, I wasn't sure where this thread belonged. I thought the General forum would get the best exposure.
