An old razor

Father brought back from grandpa's house this razor.
It is supposed to be left in Italy by an english soldier during world war II.
The head is made of plastic and has two plastic pins and a central metallic screw where the metal handle is attached (Just like the older gillettes).
The handle is hexagonal shaped.The only marking are on the underside of the head ,on the upper left corner there is an oval with "MADE IN" and in the lower right corner there is another oval with "GERMANY" (War prey ? )
It could make a nice potato peeler but i think it leaves too much blade exposed
