Where to get stainless/chrome/aluminium containers for toiletry bag?

I'd like to get several differnt containers to carry items in my toiletry bag but cannot seem to find them anywhere. I'd like them for items such as toothbrush, Q-tips, collar stays, aspirin, etc.

Any ideas?

All the ones I've seen have been vintage. Old travel sets are fairly easy to come by in antique stores and on ebay.

Plastic I see; metal I don't see. Antique stores/ebay sounds like a good idea. Checked Ikea, but looks like what they have in metal is round and not available online.

Nice idea with the metal containers. That would make for a much more civilized travel kit.

Little pill containers are widely available (Amazon, for example). I would also suggest some tins from mints, snuss, etc. for the smaller items you want to carry. You can remove the labels with some Goof-off or maybe just water in some cases. I have not seen a stainless toothbrush holder though. I agree that the metal containers are better than plastic.

The Container Store is worth checking. Number of us have gotten little tin seamless rounders that fit soap pucks perfectly. they have multiple sizes and some other shapes - see e.g.

Check any online "sutlery" civil war reenactors are very detail oriented fellows and you can always find plain tin containers in these stores occasionally other metals are used. Worth a shot.

+1 on the container store! They have things there you didn't even know you needed! Def check it out esp if you are a bit of a nut for organizing things.
