Current Wilkinsons are an insult to the great name of British Wilkinson Sword Blades. Those vintage blades are simply marvelous, and due to some luck, in my rotation.
I started with them 40 years ago and still use them today
+1. The vintage wilks are great. I've tried the Light Brigades, which are wonderful but perhaps a little over-hyped. The best of the vintage wilks, for me, are the "Super Sword Edge" blades. They crop up on the 'bay every now and again. Worth the price. Sharp and durable. Not so strangely, I recently took a tour of vintage lightweight cartridge razors, and the wilkinson bonded was an excellent razor. I've got a bunch of those carts, and I can easily make each one last for a couple weeks.

+1, I've both, vintage and Solingen, all great blades
The Wilkinson swords can be hit or miss, but I like their misses better than Derbys...

Yesterday, I did #9 BBS with the same blade in my Futur
This morning, a current German Wilk in my EJ prduced a very nice shave.
Could have been a little smoother and a little sharper, but not bad at all.
Seems like a better one than when I first posted here several months ago.

I've been using the German WS blades that come in a black plastic pack here in the UK for years in an EJ Chatsworth, and they've always been good. Sometimes the first shave is a bit tuggy, but the second and third shaves are really comfortable, and they go on after that too. I've tried Israeli Personnas and Astra SPs and not found them any better for me. Feathers too, but that's another story (one great shave per blade, but that's it).
