Keith, you should have cut the signature off in the pic and kept stum. We could have all believed this was one of yours!

I couldn't do that. I wouldn't want B&B to get in copyright trouble

To be honest David I'm quite surprised by the performance of the razor, I've restored and owned quite a few Taylors 1000 razors and although good shavers this one is a step up, if you have a chance of getting hold of one I would strongly advise it.

I am a fan, and have been a Ferrari tifosi since the late 70's.
The only thing I "race" is my motorbike - which is Italian too

Unfortunately the Danish taxes prohibit a simple labourer like me to have anything else but an old Fiat - but at least it is within the same company
And just FYI; we pay 205% in taxes for a new car, so if the price tag is 10,000 from the car factory, we have to pay 30,500 for the car - and that is without licence plate, that's extra

What's not to love about Italy; Ferrari, Ducati, Monica Bellucci and pizza (and not necessarily in that order )

David, I'm convinced that writng with a fountain pen makes everyone's writing better since it forces you to slow down, concentrate and enjoy the experience. You must come down and visit us in The Nib. We have lots of people there who will be glad to get you fixed up with one!

    * David, i have to agree with Mark. Once you try a fountain pen, it forces you to slow down and concentrate (meditate) on what you are doing. It is really a great art form once you start with it and want to improve your calligraphy. You should be able to pick up some very inexpensive pens for under $25.

Celestino, great image. The knot is intriguing. How long does it take to tie that one?
