    Default TFS Bergamot Neroli Dure

Definitely my new favorite thing. I bought the Razorock version and loved the scent/performance, but the SOC was just eating through it. Just got the hard soap from Bullgoose yesterday, lathered it up this morning...

WOW. This stuff is great. Easy gobs of lather, great scent...now if only they'll do the rest of the scents in this format...

I added one of these hard soaps to my last order from Bullgoose, and am glad I did. I haven't used it more than once since it came in, but it's definitely a good hard soap. Very pleasant fragrance too.

. . . He went around back and into the basement because he was hungry. He ate cold beans out of a can and drank some water, and then he saw the small mirror Parker had bought with the razor and the can of lather. He looked at himself and knew he had to take a chance on staying long enough to shave. He shaved, and that made him feel better. . .

I just received my puck of TFS Tabacco Verde from Phil earlier today. The scent is stronger than the soft soap and it smells even better when lathered.
My little Semogue badger/boar put a nice dent in the TFS stamp. I face lathered and had a wonderful first shave with this soap. Now I just have to hide
it from the little guy. As you can see he is green with envy and raring to go at the puck.

Mine was the Bergamotto Neroli refill puck wrapped in cellophane or tissue, and it didn't have the official TFS stamp imbedded in the top. It did have the same label though.

Mine didn't have the stamp either, and was also the neroli.

Mine came wrapped in wax paper. At first I didn't notice the stamp. When I placed the soap in the plastic tub I flipped the puck and the stamp was on the bottom. The labels came off the wax paper intact so I placed them on the plastic tub.

You guys pushed me over the edge about my decision to try this soap. I hope it's better than the soft soap version because I wasn't really impressed with it.

Man, these TFS threads are killing me. Both of the current scents offered in the hard version of this soap have components I love. So I think they are securely on the buy list. Are these available in multiple sizes? Anymore I would rather buy a smaller size and use it up faster. I get to move on to other scents that way.

    Cheers, Todd

Did the soap come with/in the plastic tub, or did you get that somewhere separately?

No, the puck came wrapper in wax paper. I bought the empty tub from Mama Bear a while back. The TFS labels came off the wax paper intact so I placed them on the plastic tub.

As a result of this discussion, I made a point of using the hard TFS Bergamotto this morning. I can find no fault with it. It satisfied all of my expectations. Nice rich non-disappearing and abundant lather. The price is quite reasonable, and it performed as well as any. I'm happy with it.

I pressed my refill puck down into a clear glass bowl with a tight fitting lid. That's the way I use most of my soaps.
