    Default Availble In Canada?

Anything inexpensive I should look for in a drug store? I'll be there next month.

Depends on where what part of Canada you're going to. Here in the sticks I can only get Prorasso and Williams (one out of two isn't bad.) In bigger cities I'm sure you'd have a better selection.
If somethings important you'll find a way, if not you'll find an excuse.

I'm in Toronto, and sadly we pretty much have the same selection. Proraso is well represented on every store shelf. Other than that, if you go to Shoppers Drug Mart you'll find a pretty decent selection, but not much in the way of the classic brands that are discussed here. It's more of the traditional skin care companies that are now offering men's grooming products: Neutrogrena, Nivea, Vichy, etc...

Don't get me wrong, it's nice to be able to pick up Proraso at a bricks and mortar shop for $10, but you won't find the 3 T's, or CF, or any of the more shave-centric brands. The Loblaw's group (Loblaw's, Superstore, Fortino's) also carries Kiss My Face in the organic section of their pharmacy.

    Where will you be visiting?

You are, unfrotunately, coming to the wrong country if you are looking for shaving items in the drugstores.
They do have the Wilkinson Sword blades, pack of 5 for $10, i believe. Hee hee.

Yes, but they are Canadian dollars! Oh wait, there used to be a difference. Quite substantial one at that.

Well, he can get Proraso OTC there, eh? The only alternative to goo locally is VDH Deluxe. Thank God for Amazon and our vendors!

Have a Timmies for me, Keith!

There is a Trufitt and hill selling store in the Toronto P.A.T.H., I forget what building it is in though, sorry, you'll have to walk around. Also Whole foods is in Ontario now, there is one in Square one, one in Markham, Oakville that I know of (for kmf). Oh there is also one down town Toronto in Yorkville, in the Hazelton mall. Shoppers has stuff, Proraso, Omega, Nivea, RC, Wilkinson, as does Real canadian superstore. Bed bath and body works I HEARD has C.O. Bigelow, though I haven't checked to see if that is just a us phenomenon. Mmm.... trying to think of anymore... good luck. Let us know what you find! OH there are also Khiel stores here, there's on in Sherway Gardens, one downtown Toronto on.... Queens I wanna say, by the BQM burger. But yes, let us know about your scores in Canada!! Good luck!

Oh there are also LUSH stores, I think they sell some sort of shave bar/mud w/e, although I find that place really $$. Mmm... Yup. it for now.

Your stuck with Shopper Drug Mart for Brut/Proraso green/white/Wilkison sword soap (Not a good choice)/Williams
Or bring some AV Ice sport AS back?

Green Aqua Velva Original Sport for $4.49 or 4.99 at WalMart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Canadian Super Store, Highland Farms. I believe it's not available in the US. Also, Proraso is inexpensive around and available in the wild.

For goodness sakes don't tell him about kinder eggs, U.S customs will confiscate them and fine him for prohibited items.

Toronto barber supply has most of the Pinaud aftershaves, Merkur razors, some shaving brushes and feather blades!

Just to clarify - the German-made Nivea lather shaving cream in tube is available at many Shopper's Drug Marts and Walmarts nationwide. Same with the Wilkinson Sword shaving soap, though it doesn't have a great reputation.

Not much available up here in terms of the quality stuff we like and discuss on here. You have the usual Gillette, Neutrogena, Williams, Nivea, etc., pharmacy and supermarket fare. In Montreal, there are some stores that carry TOBS, Trumper and Kiehl's, however they are more expensive. I have found that it is cheaper to purchase most of the stuff online. Happy Shaving. Sam
