Any owners of a Mario Grandi pipe?

Hello,

I know that the Mario Grandi pipes are the value line / eBay only product line from pipe makers Mastro Beraldo (thanks Pipepedia).

Does anyone own one or has owned one of the Mario Grandi pipes?

I find some of them to be attractive, esp at a low entry point for a new pipe, and was looking to see if there was any feedback - good or bad - on this series

I had one, it was a good looking pipe, but there were some finish issues. Scratch marks still visible on the stem, and the like, but the smoke was nice. Overall a good value for a "custom" pipe. They come in odd shapes, some are quite asymmetrical, so that could be an issue, ymmv.

I bought one here on the BST - Not the best smoker I've owned, but the quality if fine and it sure is pretty. It's a pretty good value.

I have one, it is one of my best smokers. Definately worth the money. Just don't expect a $500 pipe for the $100 asking price.

They aren't perfect but mine smokes well, a pipe like this from another makers would cost 3 to 4 times as much IMO, I picked this one up for under $100 shipped...

I have one and another on the way. I love this pipe and dedicate it to aromatics because of the generous bowl size. When my new MG gets in, I'll post some pics.
