    Good morning.

My shave ritual on this lovely Monday morning went as follows:

    Musgo Real pre shave oil
    Calani Purissima shave soap
Mühle Basic Nr. 02 shave brush in faux horn and with Silver Tip Fibre
1955 Gillette Super Speed Heavy (“Red Tip”)
    Feather FH-10 blade (2nd shave)
    Bloc Osma Alum
D.R. Harris Bay Rum after shave

Beautiful shave, I just love that Red Tip (and everything else). I really enjoyed today, particularly after sub-par shaves most of last week with a different razor.

Wishing all of you a great week ahead.

I don't think I would like a traditional straight razor to be this sharp, very smooth finish.

Another great shave using vintage Yardley soap! It really makes you wonder why this stuff isn't still around!

    Le Grelot | Thäter | Yardley | Lucido | SMN P'eau d'Espagne

With a few days growth on the face, a good smooth shave was just what I needed. For the longest time I'd read writeups from members about the vintage soaps, but I was never willing to try them. I hated the idea of spending the kind of money they fetch, but more importantly I didn't want to get hooked on something I can't get. But a few weeks back, I caved and picked up this puck. Boy am I glad I did. The lather it creates is thick and creamy. It's not like so many fluffy light lathers soaps can generate, and it provides an incredibly close shave! The Maxterpiece of the day worked its magic. Max's regrind saved this old blade, and now it shaves like a velvet squeegee. After two passes and clean up, I was CBS! What I way to start the week...

I have been busy this weekend, so I'll post only the two last shaves:

with excellent results! Definitely this Weber head is one of the best for getting close shaves without taking special care about pressing and angle like many others.

    Cheers!
Please, excuse my written English, I'm Spanish and still learning... ;-)
