    Are these them?

Excellent! Thank you very much. Having found and liked the Gillette Blacks I'm excited to try the Silver Blues and the Green Permasharps.

The o'clock Blacks and the Greens that are made in India are both excellent blades. Well worth the extra few cents per blade it will cost you to get them

I just ordered some Silver Blues and Green Permasharps. Glad I posted about my enjoyable Black experience and B&B folks suggested two more blades based on that. I'm looking forward to trying them. Lately my AD has been okay with the razors, soaps and brushes. It's the blades I've really been enjoying experimenting with. I was content for a while with the Astra's and Feathers but there's definitely a wide world of difference in the pursuit of closeness and comfort. Or is it comfort BUT closeness? Or the other way around? :-)

I do believe I will try the blacks. From what I have heard they seem like a really good blade.

Edit: I also just ordered a pack of Gillette Sliver Blues to try out. Thank you B&B for never failing to help out those of us less experienced.

i had a lovely shave with a 7 O' Clock black today in my Weber Bulldog DLC.

A very nice blade, but then again i like all the 7 O'Clock's (Black, Green, Blue, Yellow, Green).

So, I've really been itching to try a 7 O'Clock black after reading about them here.

Earlier this evening, I was looking through all the blades that I have, and I noticed something. A pack of green 7 O'Clock blades that said "+1 Super Platinum". I tried to remember which one the Super Platinum was, then I realized that I was pretty sure that it was the black. I opened the package up, and sure enough, there were five green blades with a single black.

I'm pretty happy right now. I have it loaded in my DE89, all ready for my morning shave before I head off to school.

Let us know what you think. I'll be interested to see if you get that "wow" feeling of smoothness.

Switched back to a black today from using a yellow; got another 2 pass close to BBS shave.

Not sure which one I prefer. The black seems sharper (and thus less effort and probably get more shaves) but I think the yellow is smoother, especially the first 1-2 shaves.

Trying the silver blue, regular blue and green through the blade exchange next!

I just had my first shave with this blade, and it was amazing.

I had it loaded in my DE89 and planned on using it yesterday morning, but overslept and had to forgo shaving. Well, I had more time this morning and finally got to use it.

First, I just want to say that the DE89 is rapidly becoming my favourite razor. I'm willing to take an extra pass or two to get a close shave if it means having the pleasure of using such a fine instrument.

That being said, I'm really impressed with the black 7 O'Clock. Very smooth shave. My facial hair is fairly light and doesn't grow too fast, but I had three days of growth and it completely mowed it down. I was able to hear the whiskers being cut, but the blade was so smooth that I didn't even feel it. I did find a drop of blood on my finger at one point, but never did figure out where it came from, and it didn't make a reappearance.

Effortless BBS in four passes with a bit of touch-up buffing. I feel like I could have gotten away with three passes. I finish my shaves with two ATG passes, and the second ATG pass felt like I was just scraping lather. I finished my shave with a cold water rinse, a splash of witch hazel, and some Nivea Sensitive ASB.

An hour later and there is no irritation, and I can't stop faceturbating. I'm definitely a fan of this blade now. I'm going to keep using it so I can decide if I want to order some before the Fall of Gentlemanly Restraint begins. I may even cut out my XTG pass and try for the mythical "two-pass BBS" that I hear about.

I like the Yellows, Blacks and Blues (both versions). Don't care much for either of the Greens. However, I think I prefer the Silver Blues to all of the 7's. Let us know what you think after your new blades arrive.

My Gillette 7 O'clock Blacks arrived today so tonight I slipped one in my Gillette NEW DeLuxe and tried it out. OMG! Best shave ever! Mark me down as a convert to these wonderful blades! Closest shave ever. Smooth all over. Not a single nick or weeper. No dragging or irritation. These blades may be my "IT" blade. I will continue to use up the single pack I bought to try them out. If my following shaves go as well, then I will be purchasing them in bulk.

It is 105 for S23.99 with special discount code (THANKS). I am assuming the same discount code will work for these since that was the code I used when I ordered one of their other offerings (Gillette Silver Blues).

I have a couple of Gillette Silver Blue blades that were a PIF from 427. I really like them, but I'm surprised to read that they might be Indian manufactured blades. I would have bet that they were made in the Russian plant, as they are indistinguishable from Astra blades (to me). In any event, that is a good thing, as the Astra brand is near the top of my all time finest blade list!

Has anyone received their blacks from razorsdirect.com? I really want to jump on that deal, but I'm always cautious when the price is too good.

Hoping mine will be here today. I ordered quite a few Silver Blues from them when they had them in stock, a day later they were listed as back ordered but they came through. I think it took about a week to get them from the time I ordered. Funny thing is, I also ordered several hundred from Double Edge Shaving Place and I think those got here from Singapore just as quick.
