Howdy Men, I have a dry patch of skin on my right cheek bone. So bad, that as I was shaving this morning, it started to bleed.Your suggestions to help alleviate this problem. Thank you!!!

Aquaphor or Vaseline (ointment)
Eucerin or Aveeno (cream) from a TUB

NO lotion or any product that can be pumped out--should be thick enough to smear with hands

It is safe to apply above emollients products 10+ times per day as they don't have side effects

Do you have eczema or psoriasis?
If there is inflammation (redness/itching/scaling) you may need treatment with a prescription product

And I don't know if this applies in your case, but visits to the dermatologist for checking on random weird skin stuff is a good precautionary measure especially for those of us who have had a lot of unprotected sun exposure in our misguided youth!

Try using a moisturizer before you go to bed & avoid after shave products with alcohol.
