Default I think I have SE fever!

I picked up a couple really nice looking SEs online this weekend, a Ever Ready Shovel Head and a cased/boxed GEM Junior Brass. Now the wait begins to get these in the mail and to determine if I am indeed a LOSER.

    Get your blades in now!

(I made an assumption that I could get Schick blades locally - 10 attempts later went to Amazon while razor goes unused....)

SE blades are generally easier to find locally than injector blades, almost all Walgreens, Rite Aid and CVS drugstores carry them.

My best guess- you will really like that Gem Jr- and then you are hooked! Both very nice looking razors, but the Gem will be a better shaver.

Looks nice! remember, it may take a few shaves till you get the hang of the differences between SE and DE shaving. I think you will enjoy them. I have an Ever Ready 1912 that is now my daily (well, every other day) shaver. I remember just a few months ago telling myself that I would love to try an SE razor but that nothing was gonna take me away from my DEs. Don't get me wrong, i still love my DEs, especially my Gillette NEW, but the 1912 is a thing of beauty.

Thanks Jeff...I'll keep my eye out for one of those. What is the main difference btw. the 1912 Gem Damaskeene and the Gem Jr.? Handle length?
