    Very sad news. Not going to comment on the apparent suicide, everyone has their demons. This man directed some of my favorite movies: Man on Fire, Crimson Tide, True Romance and Top Gun.

    RIP indeed...

    Sad news. A great director. His film "Enemy of the State" (1998) is one of my favorites and was ahead of its time when it was released. RIP Tony Scott.

    I knew something was amiss from the beginning, but didn't want to speculate. You don't make it to 68 and end it "just cause"...

    Can't trust ABC... the story appears to be false, but ABC is stopping shy of a retraction.
