Hello all, I was just looking at some things whilst browsing for a new fragrance and found a vintage Avon cologne (probably not the greatest stuff but what I learned intrigued me). It's called Avon Imperator and I found this information via Perfume Intelligence: 'With top notes of mint and lavender, heart notes of lemon, tobacco, basil and cardamom on base notes of frankincense, patchouli and vanilla.'
I'm kind of intrigued by the notes though I'm not sure how tobacco would work (I've never worn anything I have thought of as tobacco-like. Most of my colognes tend to be fairly citrusy like TOBS No. 74 Victorian Lime). Has anyone else heard of this stuff and is it worth a plunge?
