    Default Current favorite ink

I'm liking Noodler's Walnut at the moment.

    Y'alls' current favored?

Cool, I've never tried that one. I have different inks for different purposes, but my all around favorite right now is Noodler's Liberty's Elysium, followed closely by Pelikan Edelstein Topaz. They look very much alike.

I'm really stuck on Lamy Blue. Even on the crappiest paper the ink just stays put.

It is. I need the nib messed with. It skips a little.
I use the stylus top all the time on my iPad though. I love it most for that.

The Walnut is black, just a hint of brown to it--barely.

Yeah, me too! I don't need bulletproof and the Lamy blue just behaves so well I seem to use it a lot.

Namiki Blue is my current workhorse. Seems to be as bulletproof as any Noodlers, and is well behaved.

Actually, I prefer purples, but none that I've tried are quite as well behaved. Either they aren't as water resistant as I'd like, or the shade is a bit off, or they clog or stain too much.

I'm on a bit of a "Noodler's Black kick" right now ... partly enjoying the ink, partly trying to finish off my first bottle of ink.

Other than that, Keun Te Cheng remains an enduring go-to ink ... beyond that, I have a hard time trying to nail down favourites right now.

I am an avowed Baystate Blue lover. It is my favorite. My favorite "formal" ink is Pelikan Brilliant Black. It is a very black black, and has good drying time. It is excellent for work.

BBB is my all-time favorite so far. Working through a Goulet grey sampler currently, I'm digging Diamine Grey as my ink-o-the-moment!

I have a half dozen pens going right now, each with a different color. The one I'm gravitating to the most right now is Noodlers Liberty's Elysium. It's a very pleasant blue that tends to be growing on me.

Big +1 on the BSB! Loved it so much I went and picked up the other Baystate colors. Got the package yesterday and I'm looking forward to inking up one of my pens with one of them. Ahhh to have choices!!

I am using Polar Brown now for much of the same reason.
