Default Has Anyone Tried The New Shampoo Bars From D.R. Harris?

Good evening lads. I was looking over the hair care products at West Coast Shaving and noticed these 50g shampoo bars from D.R. Harris. I suppose they are fairly new since I do not recall seeing them before. If I am mistaken then i apologise in advance. Anyraod, they come in four versions; coconut, Arlington, ocean, and rosemary. West Coast has all but the ocean from what I can tell. After looking at Harris' website I do not believe the ocean is one of these newer sea water/fresh/overly sweet fragrances we smell all the time at the stores. I think it is because it contains Dead Sea salts. The run about $11 and they seem to come in a small tin. I may grab one or two if the notion strikes me but I wouldn't mind some feedback first.

    Cheers, Todd

Haven't tried em but I would go with shampoo bars from queen Charlotte or mystic water first. They cost less and are bound to be as good if not better products

Thank you for the response. I have tried the Mystic Water and it was good but not a favourite. I have also used Chagrin Valley and I really like them. I had forgotten Matthew was making them. And I see Qed is offering them now as well. We will see.

    Cheers, Todd

Interesting to know about the Mystic Water. I have been using CV. I have no other brands to compare but it seems great. MW is on my list to try because the shave soap is so highly regarded.

I'm curious about the Harris. The tin looks great for travel. Don't leave home without it!

I am a big fan of QCS shampoo due to the way it has cleared up my scalp completely. Cedarwood Rosemary is the main one I use.

I've been using Chagrin conditioning butter bar with a dilute vinegar rinse. It's literally changed my hair type. No more wirey, cottony, fuzzy hair.

I loved the Mystic shampoo bar, but thought the bath bar was even better. (Didn't do anything for my scalp - my problems are worse than a SLS irritation....)
