Default I just got 3 broken razors what do i do?

I just got a slim, fat boy, and aristo about 5 mins ago and all of them are broken the slim and fatboy have the dropped knob syndrome and the aristo has a bent tooth on the comb, I got them all for 135 i can return them and get my money back minus the 15 for shipping or keep them and try to fix them. I got the slim and fatboy to get as a gift for a friend the aristo was for me, so are they worth fixing or not.Click image for larger version.

So now I got my money the razor and I feel bad what do i do I feel like just returning the money and keeping the razor or at least paying for the razor minues what a jeweler will charge to fix the bent tooth.

The bent tooth wont effect the shave, just the value, but is still usable.

I got them on ebay and they were not described as defective the seller agreed to return but the shipping is not coverd to send them back and itll cost at least 10-15 for tracking and confirmation.

Tell the seller that you will open a dispute because he did not describe the item correctly, and you will aslo leave a negative feedback

Follow Alex's advice and go for disputing everything.
The bent tooth on the Aristo being overlooked could be a true oversight but it's a bit hard to miss the dropped knob on the FB & Slim so it sounds like you had one of the guys that want near top dollar for crapped out busted razors.

i would have to agree with the above recommendations. That is quite a bit of money to spend on broken razors. Good luck.

Alex is correct on this. The seller needs to restore your position to where it was before this transaction. If they want their defective items, then they should also pay to have you ship them back. You should be out nothing on this.

They could also be used for spare parts!

A bit expensive for spare parts.

They are easy fixes, but still expensive when described as mechanically perfect. If it were half that price I would consider fixing and keeping.

The dropped knobs are fixed by recrimping the handle by rolling with the spine of a butter knife on a padded table or making a crimp tool by replacing the blades of a pipe cutter with shaped and dulled blades or washers (low risk fix). The tooth can be pushed back with a plastic or hardwood implement (higher risk fix, you can break the tooth or deform it worse)

    Alex has sound advice though.

I was PM'd RE the dropped knob repair. Apparently the razors were separates, and not as a lot. I gave the list of checking blade gap, blade exposure (loading a blade) door movement being even opening and closing, no bent internals, checking the adjuster mechanism moving, as well as a list of threads on repairing dropped knobs, and the anatomy of a Fatboy.

If he were to decide to keep vs return, what else would be inspect-able to prevent getting a basket case he can't return because he messed with it?
