First thing I'm doing when I get home is making a rye Old Fashioned and sitting on the patio, no matter the heat.

Bulleit Rye with a dash of OJ. That little but of orange sweetness makes a huge difference for me.

It's 97 degrees in San Diego...

Enjoy! I took a tour of that Distillery when I was in Scotland. It was a beautiful area.

Maker's Mark Bourbon in a Mint Julep

A peach juice, bourbon, and spiced rum cocktail at my cousin's wedding earlier today. Maker's Mark on rocks at the reception. Tanqueray, sparkling water, and Key lime juice as I type this.

Looked in the Beer fridge and discovered a Moose Drool Brown Ale by Big Sky Brewing Co. in Missoula, Montana. It's not too bad...not bad at all.
