What's new

What are you drinking tonight?

Always Rye Friday in my house. Starting with a Manhattan. $ImageUploadedByTapatalk1416009521.907897.jpg

Macallan 12 Y.O. tonight. Received the bottle as a gift from my wife's aunt and uncle. Very grateful to them!

Macallan, unfortunately, seems to be the popular Whiksy to hate right now amongst Scotch drinkers. I don't think it's deserved.

I wonder if that's because of the new types out there? No Age Statement, just "Gold", "Amber", "Sienna", and "Ruby". . . whatever the heck that means. The only reason they would take the age statement away is so that they can get away with selling younger scotches at the same price. Thoughts?

But I will say the classics are just as good as ever, so no hating going on there please.
