My in-laws finished their first original recipe brew and it was available this weekend. A Brown IPA. Not bad, though I was expecting a bit more hoppiness. It still needs to mellow out a bit, so I'll try it again in a week or so.
 
Cracked open the bottle of 16 Year Lagavulin my best friend sent me and looking forward to sipping more of its heavenly bliss tonight. So good!
 
While I was hoping for a Sazarac for Mardis Gras, I don't have the proper ingredients at home. SO, I went with the next best thing I could think of. Abita Mardis Gras Bock. It's a much lighter Bock than some, but still pretty good stuff.
