    Default Speick A/S Balm

    Gentlemen,

I have read many good things about their A/S splash and use it often, but after searching through this forum I am hard pressed to find much on their balm. Any info that can shared out there? Frederik????

    Regards,
    ~John

WOW...nobody uses or tried this product...surprises me since the A/S splash does so well. Oh well...the silence answers my question!!

I love the splash, but I do not use balms as my skin tends to lean towards normal to oily or else I sure would give it a go. Same with the Musgo, I love the splash but have never tried the balm.

+1. Sorry, can't be of help on the balm.

Dangit......was hoping somebody would've tried it...I'd like to.

BTW, does the a/s lotion contain witch hazel or alcohol? I've heard both.

Yes, both. And alum and some moisturiser as well.

Frederik...would the splash work pretty good for somebody with dry skin? It appears you are the Speick guru out here

It's not the most moisturising AS out there so I apply some balm or skin food afterwards. Works very well.

Thank you sir....since my brother-in-law is stationed in Germany...I'll have to have him pick me up the Speick a/s splash and the balm as well.

I'm surprised no one seems to have tried the Speick balm - I know the splash is what gets all the love around here, but still, usually every product under the sun has been used by at least a couple people here.

QED now carries Speick products (one of his "behind/under the counter" offerings I guess) including the balm so with the winter pretty much here, I think I will tack it onto my next order w/ Charles.

I will buy the ASB tomorrow and will do a review about it soon.

I've been using the Speick Balm for a few weeks (got myself one of the BBDC Speick Kits) and I'm quite fond of it. I don't think it's a wonder balm, but it does work quite well in conjunction with the Speick splash.

    Thanks Joël,
I think I may get the AS+ ASB. My bottle of AS is empty now. I've got a good reason to buy some more

    Joel,

Is the scent similar to the splash?

Yep. Not quite as nice - but the same general scent.

BTW, my Brother-in-law arrives today from germany....he said they got some Speick "stuff" for me...so I don't know what is in store.
