Favourite soaps when youre sick

Gents, I woke up with a very sore throat today. Got me wondering what soaps you prefer when you're sick. Could be specific or just a scent in general (ie. lavender). Perhaps unscented is even popular too during these times. On the other hand there might be some soaps that are your absolute favourites but you prefer not to use them when you're sick.

Just took some nyquil so back to sleep I go...

You actually shave when you're sick?

Why it has to be Proraso!
The menthol is refreshing.

I usually don't shave when I'm sick, but give myself a full treatment when I'm starting to feel better.

Bigelow mentholated Shampoo and Conditioner
Nivea mentholated face scrub
Bigelow or Axe mentholated shower gel
Proraso pre-post cream
Proraso green shave cream
Proraso aftershave splash

I go with either Trumper Rose soap or Harris Lavender soap for a first shave after being sick. Both are feel-good scents as well as excellent soaps. When I was a cream user it was Taylor Rose cream.

I don't shave if I am sick enough to stay home. But if I did, I would stay away from anything that I particularly like. I wouldn't want it to be tainted with sick memories.

Scent is one of those strong memory recall senses. I would probably go unscented, or something that is a good performer with a mild scent.

+1 for proraso green.

I also shave when ill unless I do not have a steady hand from the fever.

It freshes me up thus reduces the "sick-factor".
