I'm going with djh's "1877". I really like the composition. Medium and process also played into my vote.
Tough choice, but I have to vote for the green heron.
Lambroots Blackbird is a very close second, great shot.
BRuhling's Boots do it for me.
The stairs were a close second - just wish the door was a bit more in focus and the foreground steps not as much.
