Default Schick F: Anyone used one?

I'm trying to find a Schick F, which is apparently a bit less plentiful than the E's and G's. Just wondering if they are worth the hunt...or do they shave similar to my others?

Currently, my small Injector stable includes the E, G, I1, I2, L and the PAL adjustable.

    Thanks!

At the prompting of this thread, I decided to give mine another try.
It does not feel the same as an e or g. I felt as if I had to hold the head much flatter to my face than with the others.
The weight is surprisingly similar in feel. I had expected the much sturdier F to weigh a ton in comparison, but I guess that's aluminum for you.
I love the look of it. Among injectors to look at, it comes second only to the D.
But tonight I tried shaving off my goatee. While it performed in what I will reluctantly describe as adequate on my cheeks (I like the e and g a bit more, which isn't saying a whole lot, though I have found them perfect for a particular type of shaving), when it came to the goatee, forget about it. Utterly useless. I switched to my Gem Jr. Bar and mowed it down without problem.

Worth the hunt? For me, yes. It's really pretty. For you, maybe. If you're looking for a shave that's different from the e or g, I thought it was. If you're looking for something pretty, of course it is! And, it's one of those that you shouldn't have much difficulty selling again if it's not to your liking. As for difficulty finding it, you could set up an ebay search and have them email you when they get results that match. You could try various things, like schick art deco or schick aluminum, in case the seller doesn't know to call it a type F.

Amish, thanks for the reply. You mention that on your cheeks the F was "adequate - but that you liked the E & G a bit more - that seems to tell me what I need to know in regards to the F's shave quality (somewhat below what I already have).

I too like the look of it. My guess is...is that if had been a bit heavier, perhaps the shave would have been a bit more aggressive.

Well...that leads me to the D. Do you feel the D is on par with the E or G or?

It doesn't really mean that the shave quality will be worse for you. It just was for me. Might be the exact opposite for you. All I can say objectively is that it is different.
It's been far too long since I've tried a D to recall the shave and compare it with others.

I didn't like the shave, might have been a bad day though. I keep them because I like the looks.

It's been awhile since I've used one, but I don't think the Schick F shaves as well as their other razors. It looks great though.

I'm with Tim on this one, mine wasn't quite as aggressive as I prefer - nice looking though ..

I have one. Really, for me, it's a looker only. I prefer the I2 Hydromagic and some of the other models. It's a bit slippery and clunky.
