Question for those that straight shave

Straights 98% of the time...shave every 4 days...helps with my coarse beard..shaving easier vs scratching a bit when I used to wait 2 days

OUCH! First time I really cut/gouged myself shaving. About a 1" slash on my upper cheek. Reminded me how one has to be ever vigilant when playing with super sharp objects next to the skin! But, it did kinda scare me- how easily one could do substantial damage if not super careful! Away for the rest of the week so I'll be using a cheap plastic SE and give the wound time to heal!

I shave 4 days a week, almost always with a straight. Occasionally this site will make me want to get out a DE, but otherwise, I stick with the straight for my face. (Head is always DE).

I shave 5-6 times a week, for the past 9-10 months it has been 100% straights.

I shave every other day after work and only use my straights. My beard doesn't grow super fast so I can go every other day without looking homeless!

I would use a straight every day if time allowed for proper preparation (honing, stropping, etc.) every day. Some weeks I can use a straight every day, but on average it is probably 4 days a week (and I shave every day).

theoretically every day straight, but lately i've been missing some of them. i'm an evening shaver, so if i missed a shave it is either too tired or too busy with my baby girl so a de wouldn't help. work doesn't care if i'm clean shaven or not, unless i've got some important meeting. if that's the case and i don't feel like a straight shave i'd use my de (64 slim adjustable, used to be my grandfather's ). use it maybe once every month or two. still use my de as my travel razor. would rather look scruffy than use a disposable

Monday - Friday quick before work 1 pass and touch up with a straight. Saturday is a day off to let my skin and face rest a bit. Then Sunday is a long quality straight shave (usually freshly honed or touched up) 2 full passes before church and nice relaxing day.
