Some kind of hair somewhere - check
    Removal option, shaving - check
Yepp, you're qualified for a shaving forum.
    Welcome :)

Welcome to B&B, Madame! I agree, Edwin Jagger makes some excellent wet shaving products. What are you favourite soap fragrances?

Welcome aboard ma'am! We at B&B do not discriminate. We welcome all people who enjoy fine grooming habits. As for being a fan of vintage razors, I picked up two Gillette Superspeeds and two Schick Kronas last week and I love the looks of them. I like them so much that I am almost afraid to shave with them, but I have no doubt that they will be nice. Might wait until later in the week for that "weekend" shave that I look forward to so much. As all others have said, if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Artyfukin, My husband uses a new merkur as well, but I use a lady gillette or a lady eversharp. But I always use an Edwin Jagger best badger brush & shave soap, I love the lather I get from it better than the creams. I have several techs I have picked up, but haven't used them yet, wasn't sure how they would be since they were designed with face shaving in mind.
Give the techs a whirl. They will work fine. Legs or face, the principles are basically the same. In fact the Lady Gillette you are used to is basically the same as the super speed of the day, except it has a longer handle.
