I had my first shave face lathering with the Muhle STF brush this morning. I plan to post my own detailed review in a week or two after I've had a chance to give this brush a truly thorough going over and have really learned its characteristics. For now I'll say that it's unfair to compare this brush to a real badger brush. It's definitely a different sort of brush and needs to be treated as such.
Having said that I think it's a fantastic brush. The tips are silky soft and yet the brush has lots of backbone. It's also very efficient at making lather. The biggest thing I'm noticing is how good my face feels right now. It's very easy on the skin. I'd say it treats the skin better than a boar or badger brush.
That's all for now. Feel free to share your impressions of the brush if you have one.
