New to B&B

Hey, I'm 24 and new to B&B. Been wet-shaving for a few months now and absolutely love it! Have a Merkur #180 but don't use it much. I like to use my grandfather's 1959 Gillette E3 slim or 1962 Gillitte H2 slim adjustable. Also have my great-grandfather's 1940's Gillitte ball-end. I know I will get tons of tips/advice/info from B&B!

Count yourself fortunate to have your father's and grandfather's vintage razors. I have my father's razors, but they only date from the 1970s or late 60s. My grandfather used an electric razor when he passed away early 70s. During the depression, he used DE blades and had one of those devices which supposedly sharpened blades between uses, but he didn't save any of his older shaving gear..

Actually its my grandfather's and GREAT-grandfather's razors. My dad has never used a DE. He thought I was crazy for even trying. "Son, you're going to ruin your face." Guess he needs to check out B&B!
