    Default New convert here

Hey everyone just wanted to say hi. I'm new to the whole de razor and everything been using a cartridge razor my whole life and always hated it. Now that I have to be clean shaven for my job I decided it was time for a Change. Just ordered a merkur 23c and a nice van der Hagen luxury starter set and am looking forward to my first shave.

Sounds like a great kit to begin with. Merkur's are great razors, and you've chosen one of the best. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to B&B. I'm also a bit of a noob to DE shaving and this forum (awesome by the way). You cant go wrong with the 34c. A great noob razor. My first few shaves were a little tricky and a bit rashy (applying too much pressure). Once you get a few shaves under your belt you won't regret it at all.

Welcome to B&B! You have just opened a big can of worms, good sir. It will start innocently enough, with a brush, some soap, and a razor, but it will end with you several thousand dollars in debt and so many brushes, creams, razors, soaps, and blades that you will have to buy a second home just to store it all.

I kid, I kid! As all have said, any questions should be asked promptly and without fear. Good luck!
