    Default First shave with Tuckaway.....rust!!!

I cleaned up the Tuckaway that came from my late father-in-law and it came out looking great.

I used it for the first time this morning and when I had a look at the razor earlier tonight, a lot of rust had developed. I guess the head design has something to do with it. I'll clean it up again and try to keep excess water out.
By the way, the blade was a barber shop Personna.

Oh, well. I'clean up the razor and try again.

By the way, the shave was very nice. I'm still working on my OC technique, but I'm eager for another shave with this silver plated beauty.

You might try dipping it in alcohol after rinsing. Alcohol drives out the water and this might help prevent rusting.
