Marina. When I lived in Moscow in 2005-2006. She always smelled amazing, and so much class. They won't ever get that in a soap, unfortunately. I shouldn't post when I'm drunk.

Already exists.....Acqua di Parma. That is single handedly the most incredibly stunning scent for a shave.

Second place is the Proraso Green scent that has infused my shaving cabinet; the tub, the cream, the AS....every time I open the cabinet door...EVERY TIME...I get that wafting up to me.

Fresh grass with a hint of lavender and tons of (partially burned) pinewood - this is how the Provence smells, and if I should ever find this in a (mentholated?!) cream or soap I'll buy a lifetime supply.

I fell in love with almond scents. There is one scent that I don't really know how to describe that I love. I use Turtle Wax's Wax and Dry on my car, and I love the smell. My dad says it's a banana oil or something. Every time I clean my car, my hands smell like it for a few hours after, and sometimes the smell wafts back to me and it's wonderful.

It just works on me. Fades a bit too quick for my taste.

Cool Water is an interpretation of Creed's Green Irish Tweed; pretty sure that Matthew at QCS makes a cream and/or a soap with a scent that it very close to this.

I enjoy a variety of scents, but there is a peculiar combination of Old Spice, Vitalis, and Gillette Foamy shaving cream with a hint of leather that instantly transports me back to being an eight year old boy watching my dad shave.

I've only really smelled it once since he died. I opened up his shaving kit a few years after his passing and the effect was like a physical blow.

I don't know that it'd be my ideal "dream scent" for a product, but it certainly was the stuff of dreams, memories and the unrelenting finality of time.

I've tried both of the Mama Bear's tobacco scents, and while I like them both, they don't really smell quite like pipe tobacco. That's one I'm still looking for as well. That being said, the Indian Tobacco Flower is a wonderful smell, unlike anything I've ever smelled before.

My other dream scent would be the smell that comes off of dry prarie grasses, on a gentle breeze, at night in the summer.

Not quite bullseye, but I think you guys would really enjoy L´Occitane CADE shaving cream. Take a look at the description here.
Though it it is a bit pricey, I fell in love with the smell and performance instantly. By my expertise I have not a very developed nose, but the first thing that striked me was a very nice cinnamon smell blended with the juniper. As for you cosmic doom, you could always mix two creams too get the juniper and the lime smell.

Mantic recently posted on his Sharpologist site that the QED Bathtub Gin scent was one of the shaving products that smells good enough to eat....or drink in this case.

While you are there, you can get the special Badger & Blade scent
