So, we have 4 guys from B&B outta 100 brushes who snagged one. Who else out there did?
    Raises hand.

I didn't mean to do it. Seriously, had no intention of buying one but the frenzy was nuts, caught the scent of blood and started clicking. Thing is, I have badgers and horsehairs and just swore that the line would be drawn at boars. Now there is the outline of a camel's nose pushing up my tent flap. I swear if B&B offer an LE synthetic then I leave forever.

Ordered one too, I stumbled upon a post hinting to this new brush on another forum by accident. As I love my Caravela I just had to have this one too.

Thats how I found out. One quick comment on a thread here, in a section I hadn't looked at in a long time. Talk about lucky grab as it was sold out shortly after!

Hope they're better than the Semogue 2011 LE's. I can't speak for the other 3 versions of the brush but the bristle 1 was a lousy brush and not even close to being worth the $75 charged for it. This one looks much better though, and much more reasonably priced. I'm trying to stay at or below 6 brushes so I tried to forget this one existed until sold out.

That may be next on my list of to-do's. Not sure I want to have another forum eating up my time though....

$45 SHIPPED for this brush, is a very good deal.

as for the LE 2011's. there seems to be mixed feelins on them. the LE1 seems to have the most love or hate it posts attached to it. many feel the knot is defective, many feel it just takes much longer to break in, i'm not sure which is correct, as i sold my LE1 before it was fully broken in and the LE2 remains one of my favorite brushes.

apparenlty the TSN LE brush, is NOT like the caravella, in the fact that it's a smaller knot and not as dense. we shall see. either way, i'd rahter have it and find out for myself, then read about how great it is after it sold out.

Aye, I kept mine and broke it in very well, but it still felt like I was lathering with a rock and it would not hold lather. The first pass would be thick, creamy beautiful lather, then poof...the brush was all but empty on the 2nd pass and all you got was a thin watery lather and this was even after 1+ minute load times. I think it was defective, but I ended up selling mine as well. This one already looks leagues better and as I said before...much more reasonably priced. If I weren't keeping my brush collection small I would of jumped on it.

I ordered one too. I really enjoyed the Caravela but it was a bit too stiff and large for me. I hope the smaller knot and less backbone make this a keeper. One thing for sure, it's a damn fine looking brush.
