Here is a picture of my first restoration attempt. The handle is a Rubberset 1000 that belonged to my late Uncle George. The knot is a TGN finest badger.

Jason, I am sorry to say that I did not even think of taking before pictures. This was an unusual handle because it had a metal ring and was packed with a chalky base. I came up with a very unusual remedy.
