Right here. I use Rooneys far more than any other brush.

    I love my Rooney brushes!
My main daily use brush is a Rooney Finest 1/2 in Horn.
I also have the first good shaving brush I ever got which is a Rooney 3/2 in super. It's shedding like crazy now so I had to retire it.
My travel brush (which I no longer use) is a Rooney Heritage 2 (I can't remember if it's XL or not).
Lastly I have a very nice Rooney Heritage 2 XL "Chubby" which seems to be a little different from the stubby but I can't say how.

    I am a Rooney fan.

I love mine. I got a 3/1 Super on BST. It is my only expensive brush. I used it exclusively until I got my first boar about a month ago.
It works great and feels great.

Rooney Finest are the best brushes ever made in my book
The XL (Chubby style 2 band) line were amazing for people who want dense 2 band but wanted it soft. I just wish they extended the line to smaller, more affordable, but equally dense brushes.
The heritage and for some reason a seemingly random selection of the "psychedelics" (but not all of them) were solid, densely packed three bands, not on par with chubbys in my eyes, but still very decent.
I however feel that their standard line (super/silvertip), are outdone by Simpsons best in the same price range.

The Rooney Heritage, both the earlier 3-bands and the more recent 2-bands are some of the densest and best brushes made. Soft tips, no scritch and oodles of backbone. Unlike Ian, I find their standard super-silvertip line to be excellent while the Simpson "Best" are so scritchy as to be unusable. I know some are OK and many guys like the scritch, but for me, Rooney is far superior.

Here's my Rooney 2/1 Silvertip. It's the only brush I use.

Rooney's got a lot of my love... but not all. Style 3, size 1 limited edition (orange/black swirl handle) is in the rotation a couple times weekly. Comparing other photos of Rooneys to mine, the knots seem wonderfully consistent AND symmetrical, unlike the knots of some other famous makers.

If memory serves there was reportedly a reason for this... but that's a whooooooole can of worms.

Rooney brushes - Made in England, only sold in the US, where they also are being made these days (the Made in England is a load of crop these days to be honest IMHO)
I didn't realize this since they are an English brand.

Can't you purchase it from Truefitt & Hill? They don't seem to have a lot of selection but it looks like they are carrying re-branded Rooneys.

    I only have 1 Rooney.

    Heritage 3XL Stubby.

No point in looking for anything else after using this one.

It is one of five permanent brushes on my counter. Kent BK8, Duke 2, and 2 customs round out the rest that are always there to choose from

    SSB - LEMS - BOTOC - AOM - KOVT - VSOP - RSVP - BYOB - HTH - ARKO & VEG CHOSEN - YMMV

+1 on the 3XL Stubby. It seems to do more things well than any other brush on the planet.

I couldn't find the expensive Heritage Stubby models any where in Europe
The Stubby was the brush I wanted - 2XL 2-band

I have a 2/1 that I use for travel since it fits in the tube. At home I prefer my M&F.

It's my theory that someone at Rooney said "We can't make Finests anymore... what the hell can we do?" and the response was "Let's make a brush that's almost as nice but instead of being a macho scrubby beast is as soft as a pillow." Then the original fellow responds to that "You marvelous bastard... that just might work!"
