    Default Todays Experiment with Fragrances

Although this section of our forum focuses on reviews of specific frags, I thought it wise to share with the group todays adventures in frag.... mixing.... yes I said it. Without further delay...

After a legendary single edge shave this morning, I used some generic witch hazel to soothe the burn, followed up by a healthy dose of Clubman original splashed on, Very liberally.
My olfactory sense was not satisfied and felt some vintage Old Spice AS, could add that special something that was missing.
SPLASH. Hmmm.... not a bad combo.
Still in search of the perfect balance, I added a touch of Revlon's "That Man" AS, a scent that hasnt been seen since maybe the early 70's from my research, (Thanks Grampa RIP) The label on this bottle is hilarious. The smell is somewhat "Burnt plastic" at least to my nose.
We were getting closer, almost there.
The finishing touch came from 4 solid sprays of Knize 10 about the chestal region"
NOW I FEEL MANLY, ready to beat up an adversary, or chop down a tree perhaps.

In line at the post office, I noticed heavy coughing by several people there, but we all know there is a Flu going around.

Crossing the street from the parking structure to the office, a poodle tested the stretch capabilities of its leash, in an attempt to either attack or mate, lets hope for the former. The dogs owner was sneezing furiously and looked very confused.
Well the next several hours with my co-workers should be interesting. Im headed in now....cover fire on my mark.

Four solid sprays of K10 after a brush with the Clubman? Now you're in MANDOM territory!

You should market that combo. You could name it "Solitude."

"Yikes" is all I can say. I like Clubman and K10 just fine, but I can't wrap my head around how they would possibly work well together...

I mix my frags very often - I have frags that I ONLY wear as mixes with other frags - for instance Caron Pour Un Homme, Caron le Troisiemme Homme, YSL Jazz, Bogart Pour Homme, Versace The Dreamer, Mugler Pure Malt & Pure Havane, Givenchy Gentleman, Lalique Encre Noir, Lalique Lion Pour Homme, Polo Green, Paca Rabanna 1 Million, Joop Homme, Givenchy Xeryus Rouge - just to name a few fags that I own and that I would never wear by them selves.

"I smell a dead prostitute" uttered the receptionist. "WTF is that stench", rattled off by a coworker or two. Me myself ? My turkey sanwich has a distinct soapy hint to it, and I've got a pulsating migraine. I need to go lay down. I think the witch hazel ruined the whole mixture, couldn't of ben the K10, we all know how it is universally beloved. Well tomorrow brings a new day and a possibly a new mixture.

Funny that the receptionist knows what a dead prostitute smells like.....

So is this a joke or did you really mess up your scent that bad this morning?

Sounds almost as nice as my favorite Kouros/Le Male/A*Men/Lilac Vegetal combo. . .

I wear a lot of cologne usually. I'm a heavy sprayer. My body absorbs a lot and I like to smell strong. I'd never do 4 sprays of K10.

To be 110% honest - one of my favorite scents is a mix of Le Male & Kouros 1:1 ratio.
This is also the blend that has given me most compliments by women by far - I love this blend on my skin, and so do many others......

4 sprays Le Male and 4 sparays Kouros = HEAVEN ON EARTH, HELL ON MARS !!

Seriously - I really really highly enjoy this mix - and on my skin it's a panty dropper if anything has even been - only Midnight in Paris EDP and Dior Homme Intense can par this combo on my skin, when it comes to compliments from the fairer sex.
