I was looking at Waterman pens on ebay and I came across this one.
I can't remember what it was! Maybe a 100 years? something like that?
The experts will be along soon.

The 100 years pen has ripples along the entire body (http://www.richardspens.com/?page=re...ndred_year.htm). It almost looks like a Waterman Apostrophe, but I'm not certain .

How do you like it as a first fountain pen? You mentioned wanting a Safari or TWSBI, IMO, the Safari and Diamond 540 (or ROC100 same pen different colors) are great pens. Both have the easily changeable nibs, I like that the TWSBI is a piston filler and holds a bunch of ink, though I've never run out of ink in my Lamy c/c pens without knowing they were low.
If you get a TWSBI Vac 700, it is a nice pen, but be prepared to tinker with the nib to get it writing how you want it to. It is nothing like having to tinker with an Ahab, you do it once and it is good to go!

Well you've asked the right guys.
We'll have you getting big pens in all colours with all sorts of different nibs.
If you like Waterman, they make some very nice larger pens.
