    It's a valet autostrop. That case is for the nicely plated one -- something like a "presidential" set, I think they called it. Comes with a metal sleeve for the strop. There's a blade safe (a cover for the cardboard box of VAS blades) in there, and the razor is stored with head and handle separate from each other.

    I finally got around to giving this thing a shave. It is nothing short of incredible! 3 passes for BBS with zero irritation or nicks.
