Finally caved in.

I just have to update a little here. I flushed the pen as Dave suggested and woah, what a difference! It writes so much easier now that I almost feel stupid for writing with it in its previous state. Now I really see what fountain pens are all about with how smooth the writing gets when the ink actually flows well <snip>

I would hardly say that your hand writing looks like chicken scratches, it is good 'script' for anyone writing, for someone writing in their second language it is excellent. Enjoy your new pen.

I think you mixed up Dave's handwriting with mine Some day I'll write that pretty since I am practicing my script but as of now it is far from Dave's gorgeous "chicken scratches".
