I personally am not a fan of AOS products. However I do like the scent of this AOS line of products(Ocean kelp ) but I will not be buying any of it in the future.
I like AOS creams and soaps. The ocean kelp is my 2nd favorite scent after sandalwood.

I like AOS soaps & creams .. but the Ocean Kelp is my least favorite scent. Works like a champ, just no wow factor to justify the price. I use their Sandalwood soap regularly, as well as the Lavendar & the Lemon creams, just no love for the scent of the Ocean Kelp.
Scent is good, but performance is horrible. Mikes, MWF, MDC are way better for the money and last longer.
Scent is nice, smells like pine trees, and the performance is top notch!! AOS creams rock!!

Do you also find the performance of the other Creighton made creams horrible ?
DR Harris - horrible ?
TOBS - horrible ?
TF&H - horrible ?
GFT - horrible ?
While no Creighton made cream is in my Top 5 of favorite shaving creams that I own, they all rank as great performing shaving creams IMHO
I find all my 4 AOS creams to work just as well as my TF&H, GFT and TOBS creams......
I read a lot of hate towards AOS creams, while TOBS and other creighton creme gets tons of love on this board - and I can't understand why, since to me it's obvious they all are made by the same manufacturer and performs very similar.
I agree that TOBS creams may not perform quite as well as GFT, DR Harris and TF&H - they are also cheaper so probably Creighton has saved a bit on some of the more expensive ingredients to set them a part, but all my 4 AOS creams seem to be on par with my 3 GFT creams and my 4 TF&H creams to be honest....... YMMV of course, but I'm just amazed over the hate AOS gets.
On the other hand I'm not that impressed with my 2 Castle Forbes creams as many are, but I still love the CF Lime and CF Lavender and would rather not be without them in my collection, but just find that there are better alternatives out there.
You might feel the same about AOS creams, but I just feel my 4 AOS creams perform pretty similar to my 2 CF creams to be honest - great creams, not spectacular creams, but to say my AOS creams have horrible performance.....come on....not even the cheapest Nivea or Palmolive shaving cream have horrible performance - let's get things into the right perspective here......
AOS would deffiently make it into my collection if they had a dragons blood scented shave cream or soap. I would save a little bit of cash if they made the Ocean Kelp in a soap. Now that would be great but last time I went to nordstrom they didnt have that. I just bought a tub of TOBS Jermyn Street cream(the most exspensive cream I own) and I will be shaving with that tonight. I still have a Ocean Kelp sample I picked up one day after class so I might have to give that another go.

I agree that the AoS creams are some of the best available and use the sandalwood daily. I'm sure the performance of the Ocean Kelp is on par with the rest but couldn't get down with the scent. It is to floral for me.
I for one, love AOS creams. Send all your wayward tubs to me for proper disposal.
The first time I smelled the Ocen Kelp I was not impressed. Couple months later I gave it another whiff. I really liked it.
I'll ask for one at Christmas. It reminded me of Musgo Real just not as grassy.

I love the kelp lathers up no problem with lots of glide and cushion

AOS Ocean Kelp remains one of my favorites... If you have not tried it, it is worth a try.
I like the scent, use it pretty regularly. It's a nice change of pace from the sandalwood, which I might prefer a bout more. Performance is great for both though.
I really enjoy the cream and really really enjoy the aftershave lotion.
Smelled the Kelp for the first time last week and was impressed.
AOS creams are superb in every respect, so I expect I'll have some before long.
I'm waiting for a hard soap in that scent too.
