Very nice! And a Star brush with it, that's really cool.

Thanks. HoosierTrooper, do you know the timeline for this set? Like I said, never really seen a true Gem Tavel Set like this.

this may be a silly question, but if one tube had the Star brush, what's in the other?

If it's like most travel sets that would've held a soap stick.

When I purchased the set, the tube did have a stick of soap. However it was quite moldy and generally unpleasant.

You didn't toss it did you? Old soap like that is a treasure. You can wash off the surface gunk and get down to pure vintage soap goodness.

I tried that. It pre-dated the fossil record. I like vintage soaps as much as a lot of guys here, but this one was beyond help.

    Nice set, moe72,

I hadn't realised that the Ever-Ready and Gem are the same razors until I stumbled upon B&B

There are also Star branded 1912's that are the same.

Thanks gentlemen. Found the set, knew it was something a little out of the ordinary and had to purchase. Besides it was in such good shape.
