There were only a few creams that didn't agree with my skin so far. The first time I used them I didn't klnow if it was the cream or the razor causing the irritation. The next time I applied the lather, I left it for a few minutes on my face. It started burning before I started working with the razor. So I knew it was the cream. The only other reason for the burning would be a brush burn if it's too scritchy and you drag it too long over your face.
BTW the product that felt best on my skin was all three EJ soaps/creams - Sea Buckthorn, Aloe Vera for sensitive skin, and Sandalwood.
