Omega brushes... does bristle color matter?

I just received an Omega 10066 from eBay. I have another one that has really white bristles. These are a light brown, like straw, and there are a few black hairs there, too. Is this a lower grade of bristles?

There is some variation in natural hair, but generally they should be similar. However if you purchase one the imitation badger banding, they bleach and die these, so IMO they loose more backbone when they break in.

Unlike Semogue, Omega doesn't provide any information concerning the grading of their bristles that I've ever seen. I believe that what you're seeing is normal variation; after all, these folks make a lot of brushes. It would be interesting to find out how similar the brush's performance is after they are both broken in.
