Default 3 Weeks and love it!

    Hi All,

I've been Wet shaving now for 3 weeks with a Safety Razor. I like everything about it and look forward to shaving now, where it used to be a chore.
    I'm using Prorasso with a Jagger DE89.

My only question is Soap vs Cream? My skin is really dry, so I want to use the best product for moisturizing.

    Thanks,
    -----Stoge

    Welcome fellow newbie!

I defer to the wiser elders of the forum regarding moisturizing qualities of soap vs. cream. I am a soap user myself, and typically moisturize with after-shave balm/lotion.

First of all welcome to B&B Stoge! Glad to hear you are enjoying your new wet shaving experience! Regarding your question on soaps Vs creams, it is only a question of personal preference and there are plenty of great, moisturizing products, either soaps and creams. If you like Proraso (not Prorasso!), why don't you give a try to the new Red Sandalwood cream? It's superb and excellent for dry skins.

Proraso has coconut oil and glycerin, which should help moisturize, but if you want something heavier you could try a tallow based soap like Cella (shout out to our man Marco) or something with lanolin like Musgo Real.
