    +1 on Rowenta

I seldom use my iron - bought a clothing press almost 20 years ago. Elna press: No need to use starch - sweet and fast!

I've had a T-Fal Aquaspeed 155 for about five years and been very pleased with it: super smooth glide over all material; good temperature control; great steam, easy to fill; stable stand.

About to iron my shirt this morning (gratuitous shot of my favorite Ted Baker shirt included ):

    Specialization is for insects.

Rowentas are great as many are aware. It is not clear to me, though how close you could get to it's performance at a better pricepoint. After all, ironing techonology is beyond mature and it is not very complicated.
