During the week when I need to keep moving in order to get off to the office, I take 10 minutes from leaving the shower (where most of my prep is done) to leaving the bathroom. I am a face latherer and normally make 2 1/2 passes.

Haven't timed it but I'd guess about 15 minutes.

Timed it today: 25 minutes for a 3 pass shave. That contains building lather in a bowl + alum and aftershave.

Probably about 15 minutes, but I really enjoy those 15 minutes!

PS: I do, however, spend more than 15 minutes in the bathroom. I need to take care of business, then shower, then comb my hair (what remains of it), then shave, then splash on Captain's Choice Bay Rum aftershave, then brush my teeth, then finally apply skin moisturizer to my face and neck. All of that takes at least 30 minutes. In my view, spending 45 minutes pampering yourself, when you spend much of the rest of your day wrestling with the world, is not at all extravagant. Enjoy your time! If your time intereferes with SWMBO or others in you household, then get up earlier in the morning so you can have the bathroom to yourself, with no rush.

I average 20 minutes, but I can shave in about 15 with a de.

5-7 minutes. I end up taking about the same time whether its a DE or cartridge. I usually shave out of the shower so no prep is needed.

10 minutes for everything if I shave with my DE, and about 30 or so with my straight.

Roughly 15-20 minutes for a four pass shave...Usually BBS, when the blade needs to be changed I get a DFS.

I have to throw in shower time because that's part of my shave prep...so I'd say 30-40 minutes including post-shower, warm face soaks.

I'm still a newbie, so it usually takes me about 30 minutes including building lather and clean-up. Not really going for speed, though. That's one of the joys of working from home: less rush in the morning.

I would say it takes me about 10-15 minutes if I'm using a DE, but anywhere from 30-45 minutes if I'm using a straight only because I'm still getting used to it. Luckily my wife leaves for work before I do, so I can take my time.

My girlfriend has been bugging me about the time I spend shaving as well. We have three bathrooms - I don't know what the big deal is! Anyway, I am only about a month deep into DE shaving and it takes me a good 25 minutes post-shower to do a three pass shave.

About half an hour. Which is why I only shave like twice a week right now..just not enough time on 12 hour shifts to do it as much as I would like.
Even with Barbasol it still probably takes around 20 minutes.

20 minutes max. Depends if I go for 3 or 4 passes. From the time I step out the shower, whip up lather, shave, alum/Witch hazel, and apply after balm.

I spent about 20 or so minutes this morning, a bit longer than usual because I revisited the R 41 and was being extra careful

My routine is as follows. Shower (5 minutes). Lather and pre-shave oil; I know oil is unnecessary, but I enjoy it and the lavender scent of TOBS oil is amazing! (2-3 minutes). 3 pass shave (10 minutes). Applying witch hazel and balm (2 minutes). So taking everything into account my complete routine is about 20 minutes give or take, maybe 25 if it's been a hard day and I need an extra 5 minutes in the shower to loosen up. Then of course there are my teeth and other stuff to look after.

An hour with the shower. This is usually my only private time of the day and I milk it for everything it's worth
