Tread carefully? Lol... Wow...
Thnx for your reply, eh...
N = the number you currently have.
N + 2 is too many.
N + 1 is perfect.
Uh-oh.
+1 N+2 is too many N+1 is perfect
I worry about creams going funky on me so I limit myself to only buying when one is empty.
I've had to "re-hydrate" creams. Not hard to do but I worry about them losing their scents with age.
You should move Grafton on to your T&H list. It is my favorite scent out of the ones they make but scent is a personal preference.

6 isn't too hard to manage. The problem is that it doesn't stop at 6.

My sympathies Blanco. You asked a perfectly reasonable question, only to get enabled by most of the replies. I'm not much into creams, so I've no experienced-based advice to impart, but I think if I went on a cream purchasing spree and returned to something "expensive" a year or more later only to find it "gone off", I'd feel a bit silly for giving in to rampant AD.
There are reports on here of creams lasting decades so if properly sealed, I don't think spoilage will be a problem. I have had some for 2 years open and no problem.
I know - I'm actually considering a 3017-style "use it until it's gone" adventure with the creams I have. I might be able to see out the 2014 World Cup if they last.
But to the OP I would go with VerbaVolant here and say a half-dozen is probably tops and less if you have soaps in the rotation.

Thnx...
Thanks for tip, I was thinking only buying when one runs out as well, havent decided on the rotation number yet... just got my T&H sampler in btw, so I'll see what's up with the grafton.
Oh, it will stop... eventually, lol...
Lol, exactly, I love my money way too much to be "throwing" it away like that, besides, I use very little product to lather, you know how they say an "almond" amount of cream, I think I use about a peanut sized amount of cream. So these creams look like they're going to last a good while. There's one kid talking about "you only throwing it away if you dont enjoy it" lol... what?
Very good to hear, thank you very much.
Hmmm... dude, you have creams to last you a lifetime, lol... unless they go bad.
Thnks, I ordered the Cella so I'm at 4 already... with my shaving habits i.e. shaving every other day, only doing 2 passes, not using a whole bunch of cream, etc. These things are def going to last me way more than a year tho.

(Sigh)
The correct number of creams is given as follows:
![]()
I currently have 8 or 9 creams. And my consciousness are telling me to stop; "You have creams that will last the next 2-3 years." But I will probably order 2-3 new creams together with some aftershaves on my next payday.
SWMBO keeps asking why I need more than 2-3. So theres probably the right answer.
PS. I was obligated to write that last line

Lol, this is what you have to do in order to keep household 6 off your back with your purchases...buy her something fancy as well... I want this L'occitane Cade soap so I put my wife on this night cream they have and told her it's the best thing since sliced bread, well, she wants to go to the store on the weekend... Guess what else is coming home with us? Lol...
You know you have too many creams...
...when you smear cream cheese on your bagel with a badger hair brush.
...when your doctor tells you to eat more yogurt, and you ask "which scent(s)?"
...when Razorock's next La Famiglia offering is called Festering Pustules and you realize you do actually have a limit.
...when SWMBO gets back at you after a fight by switching all the lids on all the containers of cream.
...when you brush your teeth with Musgo Real by mistake, and to be consistent you then gargle with Floid Vigoroso.
...when your wife hides your shaving creams and tells you to go find a girl friend...at least that she can understand!
...when in the middle of August, you consider using QCS Vostok as a sandwich spread on picnics.
To tell the truth, damned if I know.
