Default was gonna upgrade to Galaxy Nexus or Motorola Droid Razr..but..

decided to cancel the free replacement...I have a Droid Bionic..this compared to the Droid Razr isnt a great different..little faster..but Bionic can have the battery removed..this to me fixes freezing/other small bugs which the phone would need to fix itself again...rather than doing software sets over and over again...Galaxy Nexus..sound quality/speakerphone were rated no where near the Motorola's quality when compared..so im stickin with my Bionic..I have a silicon case that fits the extended battery case and a Moto USB cable as well...felt guilty gettin rid of it..thoughts?

If you are happy with it, there's probably no reason to extend your contract. Wait until something comes along that you really want.

If that Nexus is the one giving the IPhone a run for it's money's I would say that one. Or the next iPhone.

I waited years before upgrading. I'm usually not interested in incremental improvements. I have the RAZR now and will probably for another three to five years.

I love my Galaxy Nexus. If you want a barebones Android experience(i.e. no bloatware and forced UI replacements[HTC Sense,Motorola Blur]) then it's for you. It's a beautiful phone.

I love my Nexus too. I personally don't have any issues with the volume or speaker, though I'm unlocked and rooted and running a custom ROM where volume fixes have been implemented. There are apps available such as Volume+ to boost the volume on stock Nexus if you think you need it. Good luck on making a decision.

Another happy Galaxy Nexus user here. Although my aunt has the Bionic and it is a nice phone. It really isn't that much of a leap. If you are happy with your current phone then you should stay.

With that said, the Nexus has a removable battery and with a free upgrade it is such a steal.

+1 on the Galaxy Nexus. It's a great pure Android phone. I too have had no issues with speaker volume.

Oh ok... if it's a free upgrade and you don't have to do a new contract, I would say go for the Nexus. I would like to have one of those myself.

Well if you're a fan of the Motorola Droid line. The Droid Razr HD is supposed to drop within the next month or so (no word on the exact drop date for Verizon). Reportedly runs ICS on a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor and boast a 720p HD 4.5 inch display. Other features include an NFC chip, 8MP camera and a kevlar back.

But if you're looking for something different....I'm rocking a Samsung Galaxy SIII, and I'm loving it.

I would hold off on the Nexus. Yes it's $350.00 currently, but again their's a speculation the new one is going to drop around the time of the new Iphone is released this Fall. It will probably be more than $350.00 but it will be updated with new specs, processors, a better camera and screen.

There will undoubtedly be new Nexus devices, but not until sometime in the fall according to this.

Check out the cases below. They state if it will fit the extended battery or not.
