You guys are making me crazy It will be incredibly hard to decide on what to buy! But at the moment the most appealing are M&F, T&H (Rooney) and a Rudy Vey custom.
Edgerunner, where is that T&H from? Is it from truefittandhill.co.uk?

Yes, this is the style 1 size 2 T&H. The RV Shavemac custom is the same 23 mm knot as in Shavemac 177.

When I look at T&H's site I only get three non-travel brushes, Carlton, Regency and Wellington, all in medium. I guess style 1 is the same as Wellington but is size 2 medium?
Also when I look at the pictures of the Wellington the Ebony handle has a bulb knot but porcelain and horn (ivory) has a fan shaped knot? A bit strange I think!

I've never looked at the British site, I presumed both sites offer the same brushes.

    Muhle Synthetic.

Great for face lathering AND for bowl lathering. Just as luxurious as any others mentioned (my opinion? more so.).

Or, you can order a knot from Muhle and have a custom handle made from any number of people, some already mentioned.

I think I might go insane I will have to make a list of all these things I want, rank them after price and aesthetics and just make one a winner!

Don't go insane...broke maybe, but not insane! Although now that I think of it, perhaps SBAD is an illness.

Can I interest you in a very exclusive offer for membership in TOFLAC-U?

M&F blonde badger (I have a 1/3, would probably go for a 1/1 next due to face lathering exclusively).

To throw another log on the fire; take a look at the QED silvertip in either Select Natural Horn or the Saville Row 3824. Both are outstanding (the SR 3824 was the winner of "Brush Wars") and they are affordable.

I have the QED Select in natural and it is a luxurious brush that is a face-lathering monster Easily lathes soaps and creams; soft as silk, plenty of backbone with a super stuffed knot.

If you'd like to go custom, I recommend Rodney Neep in the UK. Go for his extra-silvertip; it is the softest brush I own. For a ready-made brush, I'd suggest a Kent BK4 of BK8..

Simpson Commodore X2 if you want soft with a hint of scritch.
Thater 4125/1 if you love pillow soft.

You guys are really making it hard to decide I've sent a mail to Lee regarding the M&F brushes at least since I wanted to get an idea of how much they cost and what he has to offer. I tried checking out a brush from T&H earlier by the way and the shipping would end up on 1$, that can't be correct, right?

I did not want to answer until I used the 293 again to face lather which I did just a little while ago.

It is very similar in feel to my Rooney 3xl stubby. Firm yet extremely soft tips. These are made over in your area so you may be able to get them for less then we can here in the US.

It is well worth serious consideration considering it is well under half the price of the Rooney.

I was once again blown away by this brush

This may be a little obvious, but do you have a Simpsons Chubby 2 in Best Badger?

I do not have one, will consider

and @Turtle: Will definitely look into the Da Vinci, it's a very unique looking brush! I wonder where I can get my hands on one here in Europe though, didn't find anything on the Da Vinci website I'll see if/when I get an answer from Lee regarding the M&F brush.

My wife is giving me this one for my birthday next week. I know because I ordered it for her. I'm really looking forward to seeing and using it.

Just remembered a brush I had seen earlier! Does anyone have experience with the Kimson brushes? I think Vlad bought one in like 30mm but was going to see if anyone has tried a Kimson since they have one brush at least that is absolutely gorgeous This is what I had in mind!

I ordered one on June 25th and was notified it was shipped this week. I'll let you know when (if) it arrives. They always responded within 24 hours to my many emailed inquiries but that didn't appear to expedite the process. I think if you order one you'll need to be patient. Given past transit times I suspect it will be closing in on 2-months from order to receipt of the brush.
