New TOBS Tin?

For those of you that don't like the smell...what does it smell like to you?

They sure look nicer than the plastic tubs but if they rust...

The tin appears to be aluminum--very similar in size and appearance to the aluminum tins sold by WCS. I'll try the magnet test tonight to confirm.

It's smell fresh, but slightly 'chemically'. It gives me headaches, tried twice, won't try a 3rd time.

For those of you that don't like the smell...what does it smell like to you?

I'm not exactly crazy about the scent, but does not hate it either - sort of like I feel about I Coloniali shaving cream too, weird scent - but both great performing creams.

I tend to mix I Coloniali with GFT Coconut cream, can't stand too much coconut - but love the performance. Mixed together I actually dig the scent surprisingly enough and the performance is 10/10
I often mix Avocado cream with Musgo Real Classic (patchouli and vetiver) and get an awesome shave out of it 10/10

I'm new to the Tobs creams and am blown away by the Jermyn Street. I'm a huge fan of fresh cut grass smell so I'll probably give this a shot :-)

Scent is obviously one of the major YMMV items, but I don't get fresh cut grass from the Avocado. I get chemical-smelling too-powerful floral with chemical-smelling fern in the background. TOBS Avocado seems to be one of the love it or hate it scents around here, best of luck!

TOBS Avocado smells like honeydew melon to me; I hate honeydew.

Avocado smells like the inside of a pumpkin. Definitely not an attractive smell in my case. Interestingly, this smell was a replacement for the previous TOBS Avocado which was a pretty but innocuous smell. Actually kind of similar to the TOBS St. James perfume smell. But that's the reason they make so many varieties, nobody's going to like or dislike all of them, and everybody'll have a favorite they can buy and enjoy.
