So I recently received a sample of MdC's Foguere body soap and the scent is out of this world! Can anyone reccomend a EdT or EdP with a scent that comes close to this?

You are in luck my friend: Martin de Candre also make/sell fragrances!
I will definitly check into that (I had receivedvmy sample from Garry). How about any options that are easily accessable in the US without paying crazy shipping costs?
Understood, and I'll proably do the same when it comes time to order more soap. But what about items that are available at local US retailers where I could walk into a store and test it out?
yes there is! here you go:

That's a vetiver. ie. grass. Foguere is fern.

I have the MdC lavender and geranium 10ML squirt bottles. The lavender is very similar to the scented shaving soap. Since I was shipping, I picked up 2 of each of their soap bars and like them a lot.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm still looking for a true foguere scent though, like their foguere bar soap.
Geo F Trumper has a Wild Fern line:

Penhaligon has English Fern:

Paco Rabanne pour Homme is also a classic Fougere scent:

It's certainly true that English Fern and Wild Fern are classic fougere (fern) scents but neither of them smell anything like MdC soaps which have a piney aromatic quality IMO.

Maybe I'll just email MdC and ask them to put out an EdT of their Fougere scent. And while they are at it, a shave soap as well!![]()
I am a frag noob and I've never smelled the MdC soap, so take this all with a grain of salt. Jermyn Street is described as a "fresh fougere", and my nose thinks that Versace The Dreamer smells a lot like Jermyn Street. Just a thought.
Just looked, and The Dreamer is labeled an "Oriental Fougere".
I'm with you there on n00bness, but my understanding is that this is a much more earthy, raw lavender and fern/moss fougere which is quite different than the "fresh" fougeres.
Well, that's exactly what I did! And they responded in the positive! Check it out and comment with some thoughts/support if you are interested as I plan on giving them the feedback.
